ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands - The local War and Resistance Museum is planning a number of exhibits to tie in with the 60th Anniversary of the Liberation of the Netherlands. One of the events has the tentative title 'My father was a Canadian.'

Curators of the museum are looking for eyewitness accounts of the Liberation of Rotterdam in 1945, from among people who have since emigrated to Canada and the United States. For the special 'Canadian' exhibit, assistance is sought from Canadian veterans who married a Rotterdam woman, from the warbrides themselves or from their children.

Curator Kees Pleisier may be contacted at 011-31-10-484-8931 or by email at [email protected] , or by writing to OorlogsVerzetsMuseum Rotterdam, Veerlaan 82, 3072 ZZ Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
