AMSTERDAM - A website from the Dutch Institute for War Documentation - www.kamparchieven.nl - contains newly released individual records and other information on all people who were imprisoned in the three Dutch concentration and transit camps: Amersfoort, Vught and Westerbork. The information, in large part managed by the Red Cross since 1945, includes death records, other vital statistics and data from the three camps. It also includes information on the over 110,000 Dutch Jews who passed through Westerbork on their way to the concentration, slave labour and death camps in Eastern Europe. Records kept by the Germans have been enhanced with information gleaned from the Red Cross and regional municipalities.
